Tay Ninh, September 16, 2026 | AgriS (Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, HOSE: SBT) received the international LEED Gold green building certification for its TTCS Factory, following the official announcement of the factory’s certification on July 18, 2026. The certification was awarded under the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) system and assessed by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for the sugar and sugarcane by-products manufacturing facility.

Raising Operational Standards Across the Agricultural Value Chain

The LEED Gold certification awarded to AgriS’s TTCS Factory is considered the first and only certification in Vietnam to date for a sugar and sugarcane by-products manufacturing facility. This milestone further recognizes AgriS’s efforts to elevate factory operations in accordance with international standards for efficiency, environmental performance and sustainable development.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and assessed by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a globally recognized green building certification system that evaluates building performance across areas including energy and water use, resource efficiency, environmental quality and sustainable operations. LEED Gold is awarded to buildings that demonstrate a high level of performance under the LEED framework.

AgriS has been recognized with the international LEED Gold green building certification for its sugar and sugarcane by-products manufacturing facility in Tay Ninh. The certification was awarded in July 2026 and officially presented at AgriS’s TTCS Factory on September 16, 2026.

The certification ceremony was attended by Mr. Santanu Dutta Gupta – Deputy Director, Market Development, GBCI, representing the green building certification organization associated with the U.S. Green Building Council, together with the leadership teams of AgriS’s ProC Production Center and TTCS Factory. Delegates also toured the factory’s operational areas and green building features that contributed to the facility meeting international certification standards.

According to the LEED assessment, AgriS’s TTCS Factory met stringent requirements for resource and energy efficiency, waste management, indoor environmental quality and sustainable operations. Meeting these criteria comprehensively enabled the factory to achieve LEED Gold, marking another step forward in AgriS’s efforts to translate international green building standards into practical production operations.

At the certification ceremony, Mr. Santanu Dutta Gupta – Deputy Director, Market Development, GBCI, shared: “For a company such as AgriS, this achievement can therefore have an impact far beyond this individual facility. It demonstrates how sustainability principles can become part of the operational strategy of large agro-industrial businesses and their wider supply chains".

From Green Building Standards to Sustainable Operational Capabilities

LEED Gold marks another milestone in AgriS’s journey to integrate international green standards into its infrastructure and production activities. At the TTCS Factory, green transformation is being implemented alongside digitalization and automation through platforms and solutions such as DigiFactory, IoT, data systems and automated technologies, helping improve operational efficiency, strengthen quality control and optimize resource use.

At the same time, circular economy principles are being increasingly embedded into production through the reuse of by-products, optimization of energy sources and more efficient use of resources. This provides a foundation for AgriS to progressively translate its sustainability goals into tangible operational improvements while strengthening its adaptability to market changes.

AgriS integrates ESG as a core foundation throughout its operational transformation, from risk governance and information transparency to sustainable development. The Company has remained in the VNSI20 basket for eight consecutive years, with an ESG score of approximately 95%, while also applying international frameworks such as ISO 31000:2018 and COSO ERM 2017.
