Tay Ninh, September 18, 2026 – Building on investment initiatives with an estimated value of more than VND 12 trillion presented at the Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2026, AgriS continued its engagement with the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People’s Committee to translate cooperation directions into concrete project portfolios and implementation programs for the 2026–2030 period.

AgriS identifies Tay Ninh as a strategic location within its Integrated Smart Agricultural Economy model, where the province’s advantages in raw material areas, processing industries, cross-border trade and market connectivity can be transformed into new growth drivers. At the working session on September 18, 2026, AgriS reported on its operational performance, reviewed its investment portfolio and proposed a long-term cooperation program aimed at building an integrated value chain spanning R&D, raw material areas and high-tech agriculture to deep processing, logistics and markets.

Through this approach, AgriS is progressively transforming investment commitments into production capacity, employment opportunities, budget contributions and broader value for the local economy.

AgriS leaders discussed operational performance, investment results and future cooperation directions with the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People’s Committee.

From Corporate Presence to a Foundation for Local Development

AgriS’s operations in Tay Ninh are built on a long-established foundation of production, raw material areas and partnerships with farmers. During the 2023–2026 period, AgriS contributed more than VND 1.13 trillion to the provincial budget through taxes, land rental payments, fees and charges. According to consolidated company data, its operations also contributed to employment for more than 40,000 workers across factories, raw material areas and its network of partner farmers.

From 2021 to 2026, AgriS allocated more than VND 4.765 trillion to support over 680 farmers, covering capital, seedlings, agricultural inputs, mechanization, cultivation techniques and product procurement. Approximately VND 98 billion of this amount was provided as non-repayable support in the form of fertilizers, cash and other production resources.

AgriS’s partnership model focuses on three key groups of solutions: financial and input support; enhancement of agronomic capabilities, field improvement and irrigation infrastructure; and procurement arrangements aligned with market developments. Together with technical training and guidance on sustainable cultivation standards, the model helps reduce input pressure, strengthen production capabilities and improve the stability of long-term partnerships between the company and farmers.

In addition to production investment, AgriS allocated more than VND 10 billion to social welfare programs in Tay Ninh during the 2021–2026 period. These initiatives focused on building and repairing houses for disadvantaged households, supporting policy-beneficiary families, providing scholarships and assistance to students, and implementing community programs in border areas.

These results reflect AgriS’s consistent approach: agricultural investment can create sustainable value only when businesses, farmers and local communities participate, grow and benefit together.

From Investment MOU to Concrete Implementation Portfolio

The investment Memorandum of Understanding presented at the Tay Ninh Investment Promotion Conference 2026 established cooperation directions between AgriS and the province in high-tech agriculture, processing industries, logistics and growth-supporting infrastructure.

Building on this milestone, the September 18 working session focused on reviewing resources, implementation progress and conditions for each project group. AgriS currently has 21 projects either under implementation or being studied for investment in Tay Ninh, with a recorded total investment value of approximately VND 17.145 trillion and a total land area of approximately 3,910 hectares across the portfolio.

Deep processing and energy account for approximately 62% of the total investment portfolio, high-tech agriculture for 18%, logistics and trade for 10%, and urban development and services for the remaining 10%.

This structure reflects a value-chain approach rather than the development of isolated projects. Raw material areas provide a stable supply foundation; technology and data improve production efficiency; deep processing and the circular economy enhance agricultural value; while logistics and trade connect products with domestic and international markets.

When these links are developed in an integrated manner, more value can remain within the local economy through production, processing, services, employment, farmer incomes and provincial budget contributions.

Bringing Technology to the Field and into Real-World Operations

Beyond capital investment, AgriS aims to bring its research capabilities, digital transformation platforms and on-the-ground implementation expertise into Tay Ninh’s high-tech agriculture development program.

The DemoFarm model is used to test crop varieties, mechanization, precision irrigation, nutrient management and crop protection solutions before they are transferred and scaled across AgriS farms and partner raw material areas.

Platforms including DigiFarm, AgriBrain and AgriOS connect cultivation data with crop planning, cost management, traceability, supply chain operations and agricultural financial solutions. Data collected from production areas enables both the company and producers to make decisions based on actual field conditions, while improving control over productivity, quality and resource efficiency.

AgriS’s approach focuses on applying technology to address specific local challenges. Technology must deliver measurable results in the field, connect with processing capacity and ultimately link to market demand.

This also provides the foundation for AgriS to continue implementing cooperation initiatives in innovation, DemoFarm development and cultivation data digitalization under the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Tay Ninh Province on December 16, 2025.

AgriS aims to continue accompanying Tay Ninh in developing high-tech agriculture and accelerating the practical application of technology, data and modern production models.

Retaining More Value for Tay Ninh’s Economy

Under the new cooperation direction, high-tech agriculture extends beyond cultivation alone. Agricultural products can generate and retain greater value locally when raw material areas are connected with deep processing, by-product utilization, energy, warehousing, trade and end markets.

For sugarcane, AgriS operates an integrated chain connecting its farms and partner farmers with procurement, processing and distribution. The value derived from raw materials extends beyond sugar products to fertilizers, electricity, beverages and naturally derived products.

Deep-processing, energy and logistics projects in Tay Ninh are also designed to complement raw material areas by improving storage, processing and distribution capabilities. Circular economy principles are incorporated into the investment program through solutions that utilize by-products and support the research and development of higher-value products.

When the value chain is organized in an integrated manner, each unit of raw material can generate multiple layers of value: production areas provide stable inputs; technology enhances productivity and quality; deep processing expands the product portfolio; the circular economy creates additional value from by-products; and logistics and commercial networks connect products from Tay Ninh with broader markets.

Leveraging Gateway Advantages and Cross-Border Economic Connectivity

Alongside its strengths in agriculture and processing, Tay Ninh holds a strategic position in connecting Vietnam with Cambodia and other regional markets.

AgriS aims to develop logistics, warehousing and trading capabilities in border-gate areas, linking raw material zones, processing facilities and cross-border distribution systems. The company has also proposed strengthening economic cooperation with Cambodia’s border provinces, including expanding its relationship with Svay Rieng Province and promoting connectivity with Tbong Khmum Province.

With an operational network spanning Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, Singapore and Indonesia, AgriS is positioned to connect raw material resources, technology solutions, processing capabilities and international markets.

These capabilities can support Tay Ninh in expanding its economic space, improving the circulation of agricultural products, developing supporting services and strengthening the province’s role in regional supply chains.

Towards a Strategic Cooperation Program for 2026–2030

At the working session, AgriS proposed working with Tay Ninh Province to develop a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Program for the 2026–2030 period, establishing a unified framework for the implementation of priority projects and initiatives.

The program is designed to deliver four key outcomes: increasing value generated per unit of agricultural land; developing processing industries linked to raw material areas; expanding logistics and cross-border trade; and improving farmers’ production capabilities and incomes.

AgriS also proposed establishing a coordination mechanism between the company and provincial departments and agencies, identifying responsible focal points, reviewing progress across project groups and developing specific implementation roadmaps. This mechanism is expected to help translate the directions set out in the MOU into investment progress, production facilities and measurable socio-economic outcomes.

Speaking at the working session, Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairlady of AgriS, emphasized: “AgriS brings together the financial resources, technology platforms, R&D capabilities, experience in organizing raw material areas, deep-processing capacity, and international market network needed to work with Tay Ninh on large-scale high-tech agricultural projects. Our focus is not on individual investment projects, but on building an integrated value chain that connects local resources with technology, processing, logistics, and markets to create greater value for the provincial economy.”

According to Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Tay Ninh has the necessary conditions to become a regional growth hub for high-tech agriculture and processing industries, supported by its raw material base, gateway position connecting Vietnam and Cambodia, and advantages in logistics and cross-border trade.

AgriS seeks to work with the province to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, identify priority projects and align implementation roadmaps, transforming investment commitments into production capacity, employment opportunities, budget contributions and stable incomes for farmers, thereby creating lasting value for local communities.

Long-Term Commitment to Tay Ninh Province

AgriS is committed to implementing projects in accordance with applicable regulations and approved timelines; sharing knowledge, technology and management models; supporting farmers through capital, seedlings, agricultural inputs, technical assistance and market access; and continuing social welfare, education and environmental protection programs in the province.

The company also aims to connect Tay Ninh’s products and production capabilities with domestic and international commercial networks, contributing to the province’s stronger position within regional agricultural value chains.

From the MOU presented at the Investment Promotion Conference to the working session on September 18, AgriS is progressively strengthening its role as a long-term investment and development partner.
