On May 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, AgriS and Nong Lam University officially signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Rector of Nong Lam University; Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairlady of the Board of Directors of TTC AgriS; and Professor William Chen Wei Ning, Director of the Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL) under Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This move marks another strategic step by AgriS in fostering academic partnerships.

This collaboration reflects AgriS’s commitment to the “Five Stakeholders” linkage model (Government – Banks – Academia – Enterprises – Farmers) and affirms its role as a key connector in fostering close collaboration among all parties to drive a comprehensive transformation of agriculture towards a circular, efficient, and globally competitive model.

Appreciating the strong cooperation between the two parties, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Rector of Nong Lam University, shared: “I believe this milestone will serve as a significant catalyst for developing high-quality human resources in agriculture. At the same time, this cooperation presents an opportunity to enhance academic exchange and the practical application of knowledge, closely aligned with the government’s directives under Resolutions 57 and 68.”

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairlady of AgriS, emphasized: “We are committed to fostering collaboration among stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem through the ‘Five Stakeholders’ model. Academia plays a crucial role as the foundation for nurturing talent that will shape the future of sustainable agriculture in Vietnam. Our partnership with Nong Lam University, a prestigious academic and scientific institution with a 70-year legacy, is a key step in AgriS’s journey to build a comprehensive, circular, and sustainable agri-economic ecosystem, centered on high-quality human capital.”

Affirming its position as a vital bridge connecting Vietnamese agricultural products to high-demand international markets, AgriS continues to demonstrate its dedication to community service and cultivating future generations of agricultural talent.
